3 men & a little lady! :o)

Well, that little lady is actually getting kind of big. BUT we'll pretend I'm still little!!!:oP

So I was looking through all my other cute preggo friends' blogs and realized that I am a horrible mommy along with being a horrible blogger, which I was already aware of. I haven't given any updates and my poor 2nd child is gonna have a complex one day thinking I didn't care or wasn't excited for his arrival... Haha, I really am excited, I promise Child!!! I just forget to do simple things like this amongst all the other crazy things going on in life, ya know?

ANYWAY... we officially found out last month that the coming addition to the Hunsaker Bunch is going to be another fun little BOY!:o) Drake will have a little buddy and Mom & Dad couldn't be more excited as well! We are a little stuck where names are concerned. We want something cool but a little more on the uncommon side (like Drake:o)) so any input on that would be greatly appreciated and taken into consideration!

I call him "The Predator Baby" cuz in this particular set of ultrasounds, he looked like the predator off of "Alien vs. Predator"! Don't you think???:o) He just likes to look directly at the camera instead of letting us get the profile shots. At our 26 week appt though, we get to have a 4-D ultrasound! We're pretty excited about that since we didn't get one of those with Drake...

I don't know if it's just a boy thing or if it's just my boys but neither of them are/were very shy to show off in the womb for the camera!:o) It was funny- the u/s tech brought the camera around under little guy #2's bum and he was sitting crossed legged like a pretzel, ready for his close up. And she goes, "Oh! Looks like we have a little brother!" Shane & I didn't need her to tell us... Good grief, my boys! We could be a little more modest... :o)

But everything else looked normal for baby #2! I do seem to be having a few more complications early with this baby though. Nothing too extremely serious- just enough that we have to keep an eye on it all. I'm pretty sure it's just my body saying "Holy cow- we're doing this again ALREADY???" But everything thing is going well and excited at how quickly time is passing!

In other news, my firstborn is getting SOOO BIG!!! Ah, I can't get over it. I was watching out home videos of when he was first born and I just can't believe how fast time is going by with him! Mr. D is now mobile and LOVES to explore wherever he can get to! He can crawl but if he wants to get somewhere fast, he does the worm. It's funny to watch:o) He's such a little rugrat and gets into as much as he can. He is also pulling himself up on things & using them to walk along...... I don't love this cuz now it's only a matter of time before he's running around everywhere and getting into everything... Aaaahhh!

Mr. Drake is also learning to talk!:o) He says "Mom" & "Momma." When he first started talking, I just thought it was a sound he was making but now I am absolutely positive he knows what it means even though he only does it when he wants me to pick him up or pay attention to him, and it works! He says "Da-da" too now but he said my name first waaay before his! We kinda had a little bet going on which he'd say first... :oD

Shane was in denial about D saying "mom" until one day we came home from the store and put him in the living room to play with his toys. So after putting the groceries away, I came around the corner to find him off of the rug and scooting towards our fan. So Shane and I sat at the end of our hallway just watching him. When he saw us, he started squirming down the hall our way. When he wasn't moving fast enough for his liking, he laid on his stomach, put his hands in the air towards me, and started whining then clear as day said "Momma!" Haha YESSSSSS!!! I win!

The funnier thing about this was before he could say "Da-da," Shane had been working extra hard to teach him. One time, Drake just smiled as if to say "Dad, you're so silly! I already know how to say it. It's just WHEN I decide to let you know that!" Then he says "Bah-bah." Haha I LOVE IT!

So yes... He also says "Whoa!" & "Buh-bye" when he's in a good mood:o) AND my favorite thing he does is SING!!! YES! My little singer boy... too sweet! We love our little chatter box, mess-making, singing, mobile rugrat! And he knows it!
